My father (who is a pediatrician) tells me that he RARELY sees any complications or problems and finds that patients do much better in school after taking it. Omega 3s are THE BOMB! i've been taking Flax and Fish oil for 3 months. My memory is as sharp is a butcher knife. CHEERS!

Name: Graham Date: 2005-07-02 23:17:51 Email: Graham@therightjob.co.uk Message: Hey Christine! It's a good question and one that we all have at times, I reckon. It definitely is a lot of work, to get there and when you arrive with a degree behind you. The hours are better than they used to be but they're still long and anti-social at times (especially when you're doing A+E!). Probably the best bit of all that you've said is the 5 years of uni!!! I think the last 3 years were the best for me. A 3 year degree would have been too short. Even with all this, I still think it is a great job if you hold on to as much idealism as you can. Most people start out at uni with an image of the kind of doctor that they want to be, often coupled with a strong desire to help people. Over the years, some of this can be eaten away by the stress, triedness and sometimes a background culture of cynicism. The trick is to try and hold on to the essence of what you're doing and enjoy the human interaction/holistic part of it. This does sound a bit cheesy maybe and I can't say I do this all the time, but it's the part I find interesting. So I s'pose my answer is 'Yes'. I think it's worth it. I had all the same concerns before I started but I wouldn't go back and change it now. Just planning my midlife crisis early! Let us know what you decide.

Another good one to check out is (Smog). Great tracks are The Well, Cold Blooded Old Times, Rock Bottom Riser and Dress Sexy at my Funeral. Still getting into it myself, but saw him in Monday...bloody good!

A few other ones that are good: cat empire - aussie band that recorded their album in one session in cuba (pseudo-latino but not), emiliana torrini - haven't really listened to her slbum (fisherman woman) but it seems pretty good and morcheeba esq., me first and the gimme gimmes - ska band you may have heard of already that do covers of lots of songs, pretty party. Hope you ok
Name: Graham Date: 2005-06-17 16:42:06 Email: Graham@therightalbum.co.uk Message: I think everyone should check out Joanna Newsom's album - 'The Milk-Eyed Mender'. She's a wonderfully original singer-songwriter from the States with a fantastically odd/beautiful voice singing very creative lyrics. You have to give it a few listens to be spellbound, I reckon. Belle, I think this one's for you! Anybody else got any suggestions for music to check out? I'm gagging for some new sounds.

I'm not sure about university research or financial matters, but I recommend you check out a few good websites. The first is a series of lectures given by Professor Vilayanur S. Ramachandran in 2003 ---> http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/reith2003. The second is a good website which I haven't fully explored yet. Looks like it'll help with my neuroanatomy learning ---> http://www9.biostr.washington.edu/cgi-bin/DA/PageMaster?atlas:NeuroSyllabus+ffpathIndex:Splash^Page^Syllabus+2 (sorry for long address). As for joining our group, no permission needed. Group may be too strong a word. Do you want to do neurology or psychiatry???

Feel a little uneasy about the idea of a brand; like the uni is some kind of product to be marketed. But that's the way of the world I s'pose. Dig the film! Nuts! Clever idea...must have taken a little time to put together. When are you gonna make some more music, Paul???

I'd recommend seeing on the high quality version if you can because the detail is very important: http://www.channel4.com/film/reviews/film.jsp?id=127021
