Hello. I'm in Melbourne at the moment - just for the weekend. Lovely weather. Just trying to find out what to do. Seems like there's plenty of options. Just had a lovely breakast. Just.

I think I've been on this chat room a little too much. Just a couple of quick things. Sorry for TRB being offline for a few days. We had a few problems with domain name renewal. All sorted now and I can sleep soundly (plus the fact that I've just finished my week of nights helps!!!). Danny, that CD of your music you gave me is fantastic. Will be putting those new tunes on ASAP. Just got to find out why the last tune I uploaded hasn't worked first :-( Plus, currently updating my site (www.patternsmadebylight.com) at a rate of knots so check it out. Later!

Here's something to think about. David Bohm writes in 'On Creativity', "It is implicitly accepted...that intelligence is an extension or development of thought...It cannot be too strongly emphasised...that intelligence does not arise primarily out of thought. Rather, the deep source of intelligence is the unknown and indefinable totality from which all perception originates. Clearly, then, intelligence is not to be regarded as a result of accumulated knowledge which could be learned, for example, as a science or as a technique. Rather, it can perhaps best be regarded as an art – the art of perception through the mind."

Hey Sarah. No contacts from me unfortunately. Look forward to the book and the website relaunch. Definitely, let us know when each is complete. Son - welcome back! It's always a bit of a shame getting back to work after a great time off. Although it is great when you return feeling refreshed. Send me some pictures! By the way, I'm working on a new website of my photography called www.patternsmadebylight.com. Check it out and let me know what you think. It's still in the process of being nudged and tweaked and completed. Hope it works!

Hi again from The Scriberazone. Our website is currently dormant as we prepare for a relaunch - and we are also in the process of getting a book of poetry published. As this is all going to be self-funded from editors' pockets, I'm keen to hear from anyone on therightbrain with contacts in the media or book distribution business. If it ever makes a profit, there may be a share for you! Email me if you are interested in being involved with us. In the meantime, do take a look at our website to see what sort of thing we're up to: www.scriberazone.co.uk The Scriberazone - contemporary poetry and downbeat vibes Sarah Annetts GP and co-editor, The Scriberazone

Norman!!! Course I remember you, man! How are you? Cool of you to get in touch. We had a sensational time in Oz/Taz+NZ but one of the highlights has to be Japan. You gotta check it out sometime. We didn't get to do the WOOFFing as time constraints took over, but we got a van which totally made up for it! Cheers for advice on the music. I should be able to get hold of some tracks but I'll let you know if any probs...cheers loads! What you gonna be doing back in Oz? We had a great time in Melbourne, was a cool city like you said. Are you in touch with any of the other guys from Pong's???

This is a message to all those who have sent us new pieces of work in the past couple of months. What I hope is going to happen is that tonight I'll get home and upload all the new pages. What I hope doesn't happen is that I'll get home and fall into a deep and unproductive sleep. Apologies for the wait. My internet is now up and running!!!

Yes, I've got loads of piccies, and Yes I've started psych. First day today - only doing ward job though, which means that I'm only meant to be doing the physical/medical side of the patients. That's for 5 weeks but then I'm going to be doing 10 weeks of acutal psychiatry. I'll try to send you some photos from our holiday some time.

Hellooooo!!! Seems Graham has somewhat dominated the chat board for a while.... (I've not yet bothered reading it yet...) Just got back from a 2-week holiday on the East Coast here with Ann, Jonathan and Carla - went to Noosa, Fraser Island, Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. Hope everyone has also been enjoying the Summer / Winter. Just a quick one before I sort my life back out again.....

That's cool! Although I reckon the questions may not be taxing enough to start to distinguish between degrees of ability between the two hemispheres. I bet it gets harder the more you continue with it. How's it going Alexa??? You gotta get down to Brights sometime soonios. I reckon Al and I are gonna stay longer than this 6 months so there's no desperate rush. On the subject of left:right brainisms and art:science relationships, I reckon anybody who's interested should read some David Bohm. I'm reading his collection of essays "On Creativity" at the mo'. Tough going in places but fundamentally fantastic and inspirational stuff. All about the link between art and science (and religion). If you ever felt there was something there, then this book will clinch it and make you a fanatic. Everything's connected. Gotta read more books like this! Hi Son... I hope you have a great time in Laos! I wish Graham and I could have gone there, I've heard that it's really beautiful. But we didn't have enough time to see all of Thailand so maybe that will be another holiday! Well done for demanding a holiday- I wish that would work for me. But I've only been working for 2 weeks so I suppose I'm being a bit lazy really....
