Information:

I'm in a band called The Daybreakers, but write a lot of stuff for myself to record on my 8-track under the pseudonym Zincfinger (which as you all know is a family of protein transcription enzymes). 'Music' was written 2 years ago when I'd just moved to London and was feeling isolated. I could lift myself out of black thoughts by listening to music, and more effectively by writing down my emotions as songs, a simple form of cathartism. Oh, and the melody and structure owe a little nod to The Sundays and The Waterboys ('A life of sundays') respectively, two bands I could always count on to pick me up.
