The corridor was dark, bathed intermittently by the
flickering neon light.
Bodies, rancid and smelly,
Crawling up the walls, along the floor.
Their dark disfigured faces,
Their rotting teeth and horrid breath.
It was there,
I could feel it…being born at my hairline.
Groans as more bodies were in need.
More bodies were dying,
More bodies were dead.
BEEP BEEEEEEEEP.
That was its calling, that was its sign.
It began its auspicious journey.
It snaked its way through the greasy rivers and pimply
mountains.
I could feel its cold presence, taunting my every move.
The bodies could sense it too.
They loved it.
BEEP BEEEEEEEEP.
O bead of sweat, so dark yet so sweet,
O bead of sweat, so bitter, yet so meek.
Engulf me now and don’t ever stop…..
BECAUSE I LOVE IT …..oooohh.
