Our lips touching each other are electrical contacts,
The only places that can carry the current of our feelings.
Humble words too thin to carry the message we want,
Our bodies the only capable messengers.
Eyes closed now, and heads tilted, with
Arms handcuffed by passion to each others’ bodies:
For this instant the tie is unbreakable.
Nothing could disturb these two, for all the
Time in the world is compacted into a single moment
of bliss
When their souls, escaping softly through their mouths,
Meet at the lips, and, for an instant,
Recognise each other as twins.
